Curriculum to be covered:
FLA: We will continue to practice our skills as writers in various activities. We will also start doing some reader's theater productions in class. Students will have the opportunity to practice their reading and acting skills. Students will work on using expression, body movement, and props as a way to tell a story! Students will also have the opportunity to present these productions to the class.
Math: We will continue learning numbers to 100 while reviewing addition and subtraction to 20. We will also review 2D shapes and start learning 3D shapes.
Science: We will continue our unit on the needs of plants and animals.
Social Studies: We will be working on our Popplet Project as a way to represent ourselves and through presenting the project, students will learn about their classmates' interests and families.
