The warm weather has started and is hopefully here to stay!

Apr. 1 - PL Day, no school for students
Apr. 4 - One District One Book wrap-up assembly
Apr. 8 - Green Shirt Day
Apr. 12 - Scholastic Orders due
Apr. 16 - Spring Music Assembly
Apr. 18 - Hot Lunch
Apr. 18 - Class Party in the afternoon
Apr. 19 - 28 - Easter Break, No School
Curriculum to be covered:
Français: This month we will work on the complex sounds au/eau, c/g doux and dur, gn. We will start talking about spring vocabulary including spring activities. We will continue writing sequential stories as well as free writing based using a picture prompt to generate ideas.
Math: We will continually work number sense with numbers to 100 until the end of the year. We will continue to work on word problems and will begin learning subtraction from 10.
Science: We will continue our unit on living and non-living things.
Social: We will continue our unit on our community and the role we have.
Please continue to do home reading with your child every week. It is important that they exchange their books on a weekly basis so your child can continue to practice their reading skills at school and at home.
